You do not have to be in a Greek
Organization to support the NSSA or
become involved with our step mentoring programs.
Member dues help support this non-profit, volunteer organization
cover operating expenses such as communication and Step Show
sponsorship. |

NSSA Membership
There are two
types of NSSA
membership –
individual or group (for team or organization).
With either
membership – new or
renewal – you
receive the NSSA’s
Official Rules of
Stepping. Team
members receive
preferred slotting
for NSSA sponsored
or sanctioned
events. The demand
for performance
spots at events such
as the Music City
Step Fest has meant
for the past 3 years
only NSSA member
teams have been
selected. Membership
is on an annual
basis, from the
month of your
payment.
Individual
membership is for
individuals who want
to serve as judges,
but are not
affiliated with a
youth or Greek step
team.
Members, both
individual and team
types, receive
discounts on
publications,
conference
registrations, and
stepping workshops. |

Committees
Open to Members
The NSSA encourages you to get involved!
Coaches Advisory Roundtable
– this forum provides the opportunity for youth step team
coaches and advisors to network and share information with
one another on a bi-monthly basis. The monthly CAR
conference call is held the 3rd Thursday of each month.
Greek Advisory Board – this
forum provides the opportunity to college and alumni Greek
step team leaders to network and share information with one
another on a bi-monthly basis. The
quarterly GAR conference call is held the 2nd Thursday of
each quarter.
NSSA
Newsletter
In an effort to better serve our members
the quarterly newsletter has been replaced with the bi-monthly
electronic newsletter.
The eNewsletter profiles step teams, step show events, and
provides a calendar of upcoming events.
