The NSSA has additional workshops designed to engage individuals who enjoys stepping and would like to be more versed in the art form.

Stepping Fundamentals Workshop – is designed for participants to “get active” and learn the stepping elements first hand. Regardless of the participants’ level of experience NSSA Certified Instructors will provide a lesson that improves technical proficiency and fundamental elements.
 
The workshop has been taught to elementary students, college students, and seniors. Each workshop is custom designed based on the interest of the specific host organization.

Key Elements for Step Show Judging Workshop – is a 3-hour course which provides a detailed breakout of the NSSA unified rules, procedures, and process. This course is a requirement for individuals who are interested in gaining certification as a NSSA judge. The course is taught by NSSA Certified Judges who are members of the National Rules & Procedures Committee.
